Driver Parked On Sidewalk Gets DUI: Havre de Grace Police
Police said a man passed out behind the wheel of a car on North Juniata at Otsego streets was arrested.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A driver who parked on the sidewalk in Havre de Grace and passed out behind the wheel was charged with driving under the influence and other offenses. The arrest happened after officers were called to the scene at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13.
Police said there was a report of a person passed out behind the wheel and parked on the sidewalk on North Juniata at Otsego streets.
The driver was intoxicated, according to Havre de Grace police officers who responded.

Damon Dorrell Trogdon, 39, of the 4100 block of Ivanhoe Avenue in north Baltimore, was arrested and charged with negligent driving, reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol and driving on a suspended license, according to court records, which said he was in a black Lexus at the time.
Officers said they found a loaded black Ruger 9 mm handgun in the door of the vehicle while they were inventorying it before it was towed. Upon determining it was not stolen, they said they placed it in a safe at the Havre de Grace Police Department.
