Drug Dealing Charge After Traffic Stop Bailout: HdG Crime
Police said spitting, drug dealing and more crimes were reported in Havre de Grace this week.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
A 37-year-old man from the 500 block of Fountain Street was cited for failing to obey a lawful order. He was arrested after refusing to go back in the house when officers advised him to do so. He had been in the middle of the street yelling at juveniles in the 400 block of Saint John Street at 10:34 p.m. on April 28.
A 22-year-old Edgewood man was arrested on South Union Avenue at 5:51 p.m. on April 27. He had run from a traffic stop on Revolution at Stokes Streets. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin, possession of drugs other than marijuana and resisting arrest.

Medication and cigarettes were stolen from a Nissan Altima in the 500 block of North Stokes Street at 6:56 p.m. on April 23. The door was left unlocked.
A tag was possibly stolen in the 500 block of South Union Avenue from the second story of the parking garage at 5:47 p.m. on April 23.

A 28-year-old North East woman was charged with drug possession and traffic offenses after a stop on MD 155. She was pulled over for doing 49 mph in a 35 mph zone. After detecting a smell of marijuana, officers searched the vehicle and found a small baggie with a white powder substance inside that officers suspected was cocaine. The stop happened at 4:20 p.m. on April 23.
A stepfather and son were referred to the commissioner after an altercation on Revolution at Washington streets. The incident occurred at 11:31 p.m. on April 22. Nobody was injured.
A Velcro wallet with $55 in cash was stolen from the 600 block of Pennington Avenue. at 7:24 p.m. on April 22.
A juvenile approached a man working in the yard in the 400 block of South Washington Street and began taunting him. The youth became increasingly aggressive and was charged after spitting on the man, who was his neighbor, at 5:16 p.m. on April 22.
