Duck Drop Signals Havre de Grace New Year
Firefighters help city transition to 2015 with annual tradition.

The Susquehanna Hose Company is ringing in the new year once again with the drop of a duck followed by fireworks.
At the annual Duck Drop, firefighters will suspend a foam duck from a fire truck and drop it as the clock strikes midnight.
In the past the duck has been lit up in colors aligning with causes that the hose company has supported, like pink for breast cancer and green for St. Baldricks Foundation.
