Orange Bike Theft, DUI on Lewis Lane: HdG Police Blotter

Stolen central air conditioning unit, vandalized Volkswagen and other incidents reported to Havre de Grace police.

The following incidents were reported to the Havre de Grace Police Department this week:

An orange bicycle was stolen from Havre de Grace Middle School in the 400 block of Lewis Lane, reported at 3:03 p.m. on Sept. 17.

A Havre de Grace man was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 16 during a traffic stop in Bel Air. The 28-year-old from the 100 block of Vandiver Court was taken into custody on a warrant from the Havre de Grace Police Department for multiple charges including theft between $1,000 and $10,000; theft scheme under $10,000; using or disclosing credit card numbers; and credit card charges. The charges related to a Sept. 1 incident, according to online court records. He was pulled over by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office for failure to maintain auto insurance on an Oldsmobile on MD Route 22 at Brierhill Drive.

Mail theft was reported in the 100 block of Weber Street at 3:12 p.m. on Sept. 15. The issue was referred to the post office.

An Xbox was stolen from the 100 block of Union Avenue. The theft—which occurred approximately two weeks prior—was reported at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 15.

A domestic assault was reported just after 1 p.m. on Sept. 13 in the 100 block of Deaver Street.

A Havre de Grace woman was charged with drunk driving less than a half-mile from home last weekend. At 1 p.m. on Sept. 13, she was pulled over on Lewis Lane at Pulaski Highway in an Infiniti. The 41-year-old, who lives approximately 0.4 mile away in the 3000 block of Lewis Lane, was charged with DUI.

A central air conditioning unit was reported stolen from a home that had recently sold in the 300 block of Willow Way. The theft was reported after 9 a.m. on Sept. 13, when a sliding door was found ajar and a key box for the realtor was missing.

The rear window of a blue Volkswagen Jetta was vandalized, reported at 11:50 a.m. on Sept. 12, in the 200 block of Canvasback Drive.

A domestic assault was reported in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway at 3:55 a.m. on Sept. 12.
