DUI on Route 40 Day After New Year's: Havre de Grace Crime

Two thefts, two arrests and an assault are among incidents police officers in Havre de Grace say they have responded to so far in 2017.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A purse and cell phone were stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Battery Drive at 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 4. A Galaxy Note 4 and learner's permit were taken. Estimated loss was $400.

Approximately $120 was stolen from a living room in the 400 block of Village Drive, reported before 9 a.m. on Jan. 3.

An assault case among family members was referred to juvenile services. The incident was reported in the 100 block of Stansbury Court at 6:22 a.m. on Jan. 3.

An Aberdeen man was charged with DUI in the 1700 block of Pulaski Highway at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Jan. 2. The 31-year-old from the 100 block of West Inca Street was cited and released to a relative.

A man was arrested in the 1300 block of Ontario Street at 1:21 a.m. on Jan. 2 for failure to appear. The 46-year-old is a resident of the 100 block of Heron Court.
