Beginning Bellydance - 8 week Session

Learn the basic foundational movements used in all forms of bellydance. You will be introduced to the various rhythms and music found in different styles of dance as well as some of the historical and cultural influences that helped fuse them together to create this beautiful and often misunderstood ancient dance as it is seen in the United States.
No previous dance experience needed. Wear form-fitting garments and a sash or scarf for your hips. Dance slippers are recommended but not required.
