This is an illustrated lecture that will introduce the "Journey Stories" exhibit from the Smithsonion, which is scheduled to open at the Abingdon Branch on May 19. Using clips from familiar movies, Jack Hirschfeld will discuss how films have influenced the way we think about the historical materials in the exhibit in an interactive conversation with the audience.
The talk is one of many events around Harford County designed to augment this exhibit. "Journey Stories - I Saw It At The Movies" will repeat at the Bel Air branch on May 17 at 6:30 pm.
