Carnivale will overtake the Upper Chesapeake select days in March as Hollywood Casino hosts Samba Celebration, Carnivale-style, a series of nights featuring live Samba entertainment, Samba SLOTPLAY® and a full Epic Carnivale Brazilian Buffet. Festivities will take place Fridays and Saturdays, March 4-5 and 11-12.
Guests can enjoy a mouthwatering Brazilian menu at the Epic Buffet featuring an incredible selection of meats served with goucho swords including Bahia spiced steak, marinated pork cutlet and Brazilian sausage. Other menu items include grilled fish fillets with tropical salsa, smoked pork ribs and delicious side compliments ranging from grilled polenta and fried bananas to wild rice with tasso ham, and black bean guacamole.
Mambo Combo will perform each night from 6-10 p.m. for a complete Carnivale music experience, playing a mixture of Latin and Caribbean sounds during Samba Celebration.
“Our Cast Members are excited about the celebration, and will be dressed Carnivale style to celebrate,” said Himbert Sinopoli, General Manager of Hollywood Casino Perryville. “It’s clear that March will bring some special excitement to Hollywood; and we think this will be a spectacularly fun event.”
Club Hollywood card members are eligible to win Samba SLOTPLAY® on Fridays March 4 and 11 where 120 winners will be randomly selected each night between 5-11 p.m. to receive $50 in free SLOTPLAY® every half-hour on games such as “Party in Rio”, “Wild Romans” and “Buffalo” by Aristocrat. One lucky winner will receive $500 in free SLOTPLAY® at 6 p.m.; and a grand prize of $1000 in free SLOTPLAY® will be awarded at 11 p.m. Card members can also play in the Hot Zone in front of Extras Grill during Samba Celebration for a chance to have their Samba SLOTPLAY® automatically doubled. Club Hollywood is free to join at Player Services.
Brazilian beads, Hollywood swag giveaways and drink specials will be included for all guests each night. Entry to the Samba Celebration with live entertainment is free (must be 21); the Epic Carnivale Buffet is $17.95 per person.
