The Fine Art of Book Illustration with Gail Piazza

Join us in the art studio of The Art Rooms Professional Art Supplies on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 1:30 to 3:30 for "The Fine Art of Book Illustration with Gail Piazza".  During this workshop you will learn the importance of lighting and values and how to work with PanPastels. Followed by a brief discussion on the process of book illustration.

Workshop cost is $40.00, space is limited RSVP a must!  All workshop materials will be provided.

Gail Piazza is an award winning children's book illustrator whose talent and passion for creating exceptional
works of art have brought her national attention. Sought after by some of the finest publishers such as Simon &  Schuster, Houghton Mifflin, Scholastic and the NY
Times, Gail brings her classic fine art training into each illustrated work. She uses both colored pencil and pastel to create her emotionally charged and richly colored drawings. With over 30 books to her name, Gail is currently working on her first book in collaboration with her daughter.
