Lyn Comer is a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She has owned & operated in downtown Havre de Grace for years. In October of 2011, Lyn was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had surgery in November and is now undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Every treatment Lyn has takes her away from her business for weeks at a time. One can only imagine the negative effect this has on her business. Lyn helps support her daughter and three grandchildren with her salon and because of her absences, the business is suffering.
Due to her illness and the high price of medical treatment, Lyn’s financial burden has become impossible. She is fighting a daily struggle just to maintain basic needs. It will be awhile before Lyn is able to return to life as she knew it, if at all. The financial hardship continues to mount and will continue to grow as Lyn faces her long & painful recovery.

The hopes to help Lyn’s family and we will be holding a fundraising event on Sunday, March 4th at 5pm. We will be donating $1 for every beverage sold at the bar from 5pm until close. There will be a complimentary buffet in the bar and lounge and local businesses are donating items to raffle. Please stop in and have one or two for Lyn. If you cannot come to the event, please stop by the Tidewater Grille at any time and leave a donation. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
