WHITEFORD, MD — A stretch of road near the Maryland-Pennsylvania state line will be closed for an extended period of time, Harford County emergency officials advised Tuesday. A tree fell across Whiteford Road/MD 136, along with phone and power lines, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
