Festival Signs Stolen: HdG Police Blotter
Two burglaries, two assaults, vandalism and other crimes were also reported to Havre de Grace police this week.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
A burglary was reported in the 1100 block of Chesapeake Drive at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 24. No problem was found.
A verbal domestic incident was reported in the 400 block of Webb Lane at 2:50 p.m. on Aug. 24. No problem was found.

Signs for the children’s arts festival were stolen from a yard in the 800 block of South Union Avenue and from downtown Havre de Grace. The theft was reported at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Aug. 24.
Wire was reported stolen from the 1100 block of Revolution Street before 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 24.

A 41-year-old woman assaulted on South Washington Street was at the emergency room, where the incident was reported at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Aug. 23.
Mailboxes were knocked over in the 300 block of Pintail Drive, reported at 7:09 a.m. on Aug. 23. Police said there was no problem found.
A domestic incident was being reported in the 700 block of Earlton Road at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 23, when help arrived.
A girl in cutoff shorts pulled another girl’s hair, then punched an 8-year-old boy in the face on Conesteo Street, according to a report at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 22. Police said no problem was found.
A burglary was reported in the 300 block of Goforth Drive at 1:18 p.m. on Aug. 22. A woman said she heard someone come into her home and walk around. Nothing was taken, and there are no suspects.
A mailbox was stolen from the 200 block of Canvasback Drive, reported at 10:05 a.m. on Aug. 22. There were no suspects. Estimated loss was $100.
Suspected drug use was reported in the 700 block of Tydings Road before 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 22. Police said nothing was found.
A domestic incident was reported in the 800 block of Pulaski Highway at 12:36 p.m. on Aug. 21. Police said no problem was found.
Several people were throwing eggs on Canvasback Drive in the area of Chapel Road before 2 a.m. on Aug. 20. They hit a Montville taxicab and then possibly hid in the bushes. Police were unable to locate the victim and suspects.
