HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A malfunctioning furnace drew firefighters to Giles Street Sunday night in Havre de Grace, officials said. Initially, the Susquehanna Hose Company said there was a possible chimney fire.Crews were in the 500 block of Giles Street investigating before 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.There was no fire, the hose company reported. Instead, they found a furnace had malfunctioned.
