Fireworks Citation, Condom-Covered Tree: HdG Crime

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.

There was a burglary at a business in the 200 block of North Union Avenue. The suspect(s) entered through an unlocked door and took $600 from the office. The burglary was reported at 8:23 a.m. on July 6.

A person reported she was sexually assaulted while sleeping at a Fourth of July party in the 200 block of Lewis Street. She does not know the name of the man who assaulted her. The incident, reported at 5:29 a.m. on July 5, is under investigation.

A tree in the 500 block of Green Street was covered in condoms. A woman reported the vandalism at 8:13 a.m. on July 3.

A 26-year-old from the 100 block of Deaver Street was cited for discharging fireworks without a permit at approximately 10:42 p.m. on July 4 in the 100 block of Deaver Street.

Other Incidents

A domestic incident in the 800 block of Ontario Street was reported at 12:48 a.m. on July 6.

There was an assault on Alliance Street at South Union Avenue, reported at 10:53 p.m. on July 5.

An assault was reported in the 200 block of Lewis Street at approximately 4:30 p.m. on July 5.

A 24-year-old from the 600 block of Aiken Avenue in Perryville was issued a criminal citation for drug paraphernalia at approximately 9:30 p.m. on July 4 in the 500 block of Hall Court.

The back fence at a residence in the 700 block of North Adams Street was damaged. The vandalism was reported at approximately 7:30 p.m. on July 4.

There was an attempted break-in to a townhouse in the 1100 block of Chesapeake Drive, reported at 10:19 a.m. on July 3.

A 38-year-old from the 100 block of Pilot Town Road in Conowingo was arrested on a warrant for fraud at 10 p.m. on July 1 in the 2400 block of Pulaski Highway.

There was a break-in at a home in the 300 block of Fountain Street, reported at approximately 2:45 p.m. on June 30. Copper piping was stolen.

A 1998 Chevy Astro van was parked in the 800 block of Linden Lane, where the owner found it smeared with hot sauce and relish. The vandalism was reported at 10:19 a.m. on June 30.

Someone using a pry tool tried to break into a soda machine in the 100 block of Saint John Street. The suspect was unable to get into the machine. The vandalism was reported at 10:05 a.m. on June 30.

A 39-year-old from the 500 block of Second Street in Aberdeen was arrested on a child support warrant through Harford County. He was arrested at 11:41 p.m. on June 29. He also received a civil citation for possession of marijuana.
