Fountain Street Fire Under Investigation: Chief

The Susquehanna Hose Company was there in a matter of seconds when fire broke out Thursday night.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Crews responded in 10 seconds to a fire in Havre de Grace Thursday night, according to Susquehanna Hose Company Chief Scott Hurst.

Fire was reported in a building in the 300 block of Fountain Street at 5:56 p.m. on Thursday.

The first unit on scene was there within 10 seconds and the fire was out within a few minutes, Hurst said.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Nobody was injured, according to Hurst.
