Freezing Rain Advisory in Effect for Havre de Grace

A freezing rain advisory is in effect until noon for much of Maryland, including Havre de Grace.

Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties are under the advisory, which calls for a trace to a few hundredths of an inch of ice from freezing rain.

The advisory is in effect until noon Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Freezing rain will fall Wednesday morning before transitioning to regular rain Wednesday afternoon, the weather service reports.

Temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s, and there may be light ice accumulations on roads and sidewalks, according to the advisory.
