HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Homeowners welcomed strangers into their backyards this weekend for the Secret Garden Tour of Havre de Grace. This year marked the 13th annual tour, a self-guided affair put together by the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum.

"Gardens Along the Chesapeake" was the theme for 2019.

There was a line before noon for those who wanted to buy tickets for the tour on Saturday, May 18.

More than a dozen stops were available, ranging from natural marshy environments to extremely manicured backyards.
