Gazebo Glows Near Havre de Grace City Yacht Basin

The gazebo at the end of the Promenade has been luminous this week, increasing safety and adding ambience to the area, city officials say.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Does anything look a little brighter around Havre de Grace?

Pedestrians on the Promenade may have noticed the gazebo by the City Yacht Basin glowing this week.

That's because the city contracted with a local company to install low-voltage LED lighting to the structure. iLighting, an LED company based in North East, performed the work.

Having the gazebo lit up adds "safety, security and ambience" to the area, city officials said in a statement.

The city flipped the switch on the project on Monday, Oct. 3, at dusk.
