Where/When: , Havre de Grace, Thursday, 8-10 p.m. Why Go: A showing of the original (1933) King Kong, with popcorn, candy and soda from the concession stand. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.. Pricing: $7 donation requested.

Where/When: , Friday, 7-11 p.m. Why Go: Get out all the pent-up tunes you might have stuck inside, or listen to some other local musicians while dining on pizza. Pricing: Open to all.

Where/When: , Havre de Grace, Friday, 7:30-9 p.m. Why Go: Bring some chairs and a picnic dinner and enjoy a view of the Chesapeake Bay while listening to bluegrass music. Rain location is the . Pricing: Free and open to all.

Where/When: , Bel Air, Friday, 8 p.m. and Saturday, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Why Go: A local production of the Stephen Sondheim musical will be staged at HCC's Chesapeake Theater. Pricing: Adults: $18; Ages 17 and under: $9; Seniors: $9 (Matinee only).

5. GENE BURCHETTE BULL ROAST

Where/When: , Havre de Grace, Saturday, 5 p.m. Why Go: The first annual event benefits the Gene Burchette II Memorial Fund, in memory of the Havre de Grace native and Susquehanna Hose Company member who died in 2010. Silent auctions, raffles, DJ, and drink specials. Pricing: $25 buffet and drafts, plus drink specials.

Where/When: 616 Ontario St, Havre de Grace, Saturday, 7-11 p.m. Why Go: Good music and good coffee for a good purpose: giving back to Harford and Cecil counties. Pricing: Free admission, get tickets here.
