Get Ready...

The girls have been in Bogota for a little more than a week now, and they are getting ready, too. I wonder what they’re thinking and how they’re feeling about all this? I wonder if they feel the pressure to “be good” so that someone will want them? When I allow myself to think about that, I want to cry a little. And I want to just hug them and assure them that they are worthy of love just because they are, not because of how good, or cute, or smart they are. I also wonder if they will like being here? It’s just so different from home. Do they have a spirit of adventure? I think all Kidsave kids must to some extent, because otherwise they wouldn’t want to come, right?
