Patterson Mill advanced to the Class 2A-1A South region final with a convincing, 18-4 win against Havre de Grace at James R. Harris Stadium Monday evening. The Huskies will visit North East or host Edgewood, pending a result from Monday afternoon's other region semifinal. It took less than a minute for Patterson Mill to build a three-goal advantage. And with 8:37 remaining in the first half, the Huskies were out to an 11-1 lead with the clock running. Emily Keesling led Patterson Mill with four goals. She also had an assist. Taylor Burris scored three goals with four assists, and Sam Boyce had three goals and an assist. Mariel Castronova had two goals and an assist, while Allie Poust had a goal and an assist, and Brittany Cudmore had a goal and two assists. Amy Bednarek, Lexie Schoen, and Gabby Vujanic each had goals. Heather Dove made two saves in goal.
