Girls Lacrosse: Warriors Come Back on Senior Night
Havre de Grace battles back in a high-scoring contest to take down Aberdeen.
The Havre de Grace girls lacrosse team fell behind early but battled back for a 15-14 win Friday to give the seniors reason to celebrate after their final regular-season home game.
Aberdeen led at the half, 7-5, but the Warriors charged back. Carly Thompson, Maddie Hewitt and Candace Knight each had three goals for the Warriors. Haley Dean scored twice.
Miranda Blake had a goal and an assist. Dara Newhart, Margaret Stump and Kara Neiberlein scored once.

Erin Worthington made five first-half saves and Abby Blessing made four stops in the second half.
The playoff draw for the MPSSAA postseason will be held Monday.
