Groundbreaking In Havre de Grace To Signal New School's Start

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A ceremonial groundbreaking s set for Thursday to signal the start of the Havre de Grace Middle High School project. Community members have rallied for years around the need for a new high school, and finally their wish will come true.

The replacement school is funded by the state and county .

Representatives from the Harford County Board of Education of Harford County, school system leadership, elected officials, and students and staff will participate in the groundbreaking.

The groundbreaking will be at 1 p.m. at Havre de Grace Middle School, 401 Lewis Lane, Havre de Grace. It is a rain or shine event.
