Harford County Opens 11 Cooling Centers
Libraries will open Monday and Tuesday for those seeking respite from heat.

With temps to feel hotter than 100 degrees, Harford County invites citizens to cool off at local libraries.
A heat advisory is in effect from noon to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 20, meaning heat-related illness may be possible.
To help citizens stay cool and avoid falling ill, Harford County libraries will serve as “Cooling Centers” on Monday, July 20, and Tuesday, July 21, officials said.

All branches are open Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. except for Darlington, which will be open from 3 to 8 p.m.

On Tuesdays, the Bel Air Library is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the Darlington Library is open from 3 to 8 p.m. and all other locations are open from 1 to 8 p.m.
