Harford Woman Rescued After Falling Off Boat: Report

Maryland Natural Resources Police said that a woman was found who fell into the Sassafras River.

Rescuers reportedly found a Harford County woman Monday morning after she fell off a boat Sunday night in the Sassafras River.

The 32-year-old from Aberdeen fell into the river around 8 p.m. Sunday and was not wearing a life jacket, according to WBAL.

Members of the Susquehanna Hose Company were among those searching for the woman after she disappeared into the water. The hose company's new boat—Marine 552—went out on the call.

Maryland State Police had a chopper out looking for the woman as well.

At 7:20 a.m. on Monday, Maryland Natural Resources Police reported that the woman had been found alive.
