Harris Stadium Dedication Ceremony Set for Friday

Dear Havre de Grace Community:

The Board of Directors of Community Projects of Havre De Grace, Inc., will be dedicating the newly completed stadium facility, James R. Harris Stadium, on Friday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m.

Free admission to all will be offered between 5:30 and 6:15 p.m., at which time a 30-minute recognition ceremony will begin, concluding in time for the normal pre-game activities and 7 p.m. football game kickoff between the Havre de Grace Warriors and the North Harford Hawks.

Anyone arriving after 6:15 p.m. will be required to pay standard admission of $5 to enter. We are asking all attendees to sit on the grandstand (far) side of the field, during the ceremony, and to be seated by 6 p.m.

You are encouraged to stay for the game if your time permits, and to see the recognition signage and engraved plaques that permanently acknowledge your contribution and the contributions of others.

We appreciate your long patience in waiting for this day to come. Your contribution was a critically significant part of this fine facility that we can all be proud of. We hope to see you there on the 4th.
