Hatem Bridge Reopens Following Police On Bikes Crossing
Did you see the Police Unity Tour? The cyclists are in the Havre de Grace area.

Part of the Hatem Bridge was closed temporarily on Friday afternoon for a group of cyclists to cross. The bridge that connects Cecil and Harford counties was closed after 3 p.m. for participants in the Police Unity Tour.
By 3:30 p.m, the westbound lanes had reopened, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
The Police Unity Tour takes cyclists from all parts of the country to Washington, D.C., where they will converge at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12.

Having hundreds of police bicycling on roads leading to the memorial raises awareness of those who have died in the line of duty.
The annual unity tour is planned around National Police Week, which honors those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
