Have You Seen Missing Havre de Grace Woman?

Catherine Elizabeth Mace disappeared the day after Christmas, Havre de Grace police said.

The Havre de Grace Police Department is asking for help finding a missing woman.

Catherine Elizabeth Mace, 43, was last seen at her home in the 900 block of Greenway Court at approximately 2 a.m. Friday , police said.

Her family discovered she was missing at 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, according to police, who reported that her cell phone and other personal items were found at the residence. She did not have access to a vehicle, police said.

Moments after officials were notified that Mace was missing, a search effort got underway that continued through the night, according to a statement from the Havre de Grace Police Department.

Maryland State Police, Natural Resources Police, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, Havre de Grace Police Department, Harford County Emergency Operations and several fire companies participated in the search, which authorities said included helicopters from Maryland State Police and the Harford County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Search and Rescue Dogs of Maryland.

Foul play is not suspected, police said in a statement issued Saturday night.

The Havre de Grace Police Department reported Mace had not been found as of 5 p.m. Saturday and officials were asking for information from anyone who may have seen her.

She is approximately 5’7” tall, has blond hair, weighs approximately 150 pounds and has tattoos covering both of her arms, police said. She was last seen wearing tan hiking boots and a black jacket.
