Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps Receives State Recognition
The Ambulance Corps came home from the Maryland State Firemen's Association Convention with a pair of trophies.

State officials took note of the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps' stellar appearance.
During the annual Maryland State Firemen's Association Convention Parade in Ocean City, the ambulance corps won second place for "Best Appearance."
Each year, the Maryland State Firemen's Association Convention brings together fire, rescue and emergency medical services volunteers from across the state for education and celebration. This year's conference was June 15 to 21, with the parade on June 19.
From its fleet, the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps entered Ambulance 592 and Special Utility 598, both of which earned recognition for their good looks, the organization announced via its Facebook page Friday.
The Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps won second place in the categories "Ambulance Making Best Appearance" and "Emergency Special Services Unit Making Best Appearance." First place went to Cordova and Central Alarmers, respectively, according to the Maryland State Firemen's Association.
