Havre de Grace Art Show Blankets Tydings Park

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Artists are converging at Tydings Park this weekend, where the Havre de Grace Art Show offers live entertainment and art for sale.

Admission is free to the 53rd annual Havre de Grace Art Show, presented by Soroptimist International of Havre de Grace. On Sunday the art show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds from the event go toward scholarships and community services.

Live entertainment will be on tap for adults and children. Artists and craftspeople will be on hand selling their creations: original drawings, oil paintings, watercolors or acrylics, fibers, florals, glass, jewelry, handmade soap, metal work, photography, pottery, basketry, ceramics, sculpture and woodworking.

Show goers can also dine on food from local restaurants and dessert vendors.

Here is the entertainment schedule for Sunday, Aug. 21:

Live Music — Stage Near Gazebo

• 10 -11:30 a.m. — HushDown, blues/rock/JazzNoon
• 1 p.m. — Trish Curreri, party with Patsy Cline & Friends
• 1:15- 1:45 p.m. — April Monique & Sanctuary Dance Co., belly dancing
• 2-4 p.m. — Chris Monaghan, guitar/acoustic pop

Children’s Entertainment — Children’s Tent near Playground

• 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. — Patches the Clown, magic show/balloons
