
It is not going to rain on Havre de Grace’s Christmas Parade.
That’s because the parade, originally scheduled for Friday night, is being moved to Sunday.
“Due to the weather forecast, the HdG Parade Committee has decide to postpone the Christmas parade to Sunday, Dec. 7,” the city announced Friday morning.

Rain is likely Friday and Saturday, but the National Weather Service forecast for Havre de Grace shows Sunday should be sunny and cool, with a high in the mid 40s.
The parade will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, starting at Saint John Street and proceeding along Washington Street to Congress Avenue, according to Havre de Grace Tourism.

A tree lighting with Mayor Wayne Dougherty will follow the parade, then Santa will be available to hear children’s holiday wishes at Santa Land on Washington Street.
