Havre de Grace Decoy Festival 2019: Hours, Events, Competitions
The Havre de Grace Decoy Festival will be May 4 to May 5.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — This weekend is the annual Havre de Grace Decoy Festival. The event schedule below is from the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum, which hosts the annual event.
Admission is $10 for the weekend. Kids under 12 are free with an adult.
Events are at the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum at 215 Giles Street and the Havre de Grace Middle School at 410 Lewis Lane.

Here's the schedule for the 38th annual Havre de Grace Decoy Festival, slated for Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5.
Saturday, May 4

- 7 – 10 a.m. — Carving competition river gunning events registration at Decoy Museum
- 8 – 10 a.m. — Carving competition registration at middle school
- 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. — Carvers, exhibitors and vendors at both locations
- 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. — Retriever demonstrations at middle school
- 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Children’s activities at middle school
- 10 a.m. — Old Decoy Contest registration opens at middle school stage
- 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. — Raptors at middle school near rear entrance facing the activity center
- 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. — Silent auction/raffle in middle school by front entrance near Revolution Street
- 10 a.m. until complete — Atlantic Flyway Classic Carving Competition judging on Decoy Museum grounds (includes River Gunning Decoy Division, Ed Watts Gunning Rig Division and Tandem, Single, Pairs Competition)
- 10:30 am until complete — Atlantic Flyway Classic Carving Competition judging at middle school (includes Decorative L/S Floating Division, Decorative L/S Non-Floating Division, Decorative Miniature Division, Whitey Frank Decorative Slick Division, Decorative L/S Fish Division,Youth Gunning Division, Gunning Decoy Division and Shorebird Division)
- 12 – 1 p.m.— Old Decoy Contest on middle school stage
- 1 – 3 p.m. — Silent auction and/or raffle - middle school hallway by front admission entrance facing Revolution Street
Sunday, May 5
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Carvers, exhibitors and vendors at both locations
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Retriever demonstrations on middle school grounds
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Children’s activities at middle school
- 3 p.m. Student art contest winners announced at middle school
- 3:30 p.m. — Festival Raffle Drawing at middle school front lobby facing Revolution Street
- 4 p.m. — Festival closes
