Three seats on the Havre de Grace City Council were on the line. Who won? Check the election results here.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Seven candidates were on the ballot, and three seats were up for a vote during the annual city election. Who will be the new members of the Havre de Grace City Council?
Well, they are not exactly new.
David Glenn has been a member of the council since 2012. Currently, he serves as the council president.

Casi Tomarchio has been on the council since 2017, when she was appointed to fill the seat left vacant by Steve Gamatoria, who resigned to become the chief of staff for the city in October 2017.
Jim Ringsaker was the third winner in Tuesday's election and the only one new to the council, according to The Aegis, which reported voters also decided to increase the pay for the mayor and city council members.

The ballot question asked voters if they would approve an annual salary of $7,800 for each of the six members of the city council and an annual salary of $18,200 for the mayor starting with the 2019 budget year
The members of the city council will reportedly be sworn in at the May 21 City Council meeting.
Seven candidates were vying for three seats on the Havre de Grace City Council in the 2018 election:
- Nicholas A. DiPasquale
- David Glenn
- Annie McLhinney-Cochran
- Jim Ringsaker
- Kirk Smith
- Casi Tomarchio
- Carolyn J. Zinner
Glenn and Tomarchio were the only incumbents, as Councilman Michael Hitchings did not file for reelection. He has three children in secondary school, he told The Aegis, regarding his decision not to seek another term.
Voting ran from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, at St. Patrick's Hall on Pennington Avenue.
