Havre de Grace Haunted History Tours to Begin

The ghost tours start in September and are based on true stories.

Although the weather might fool you, fall is approaching, and that means things are about to get spooky in Havre de Grace.

From Sept. 12 to Nov. 1, Havre de Grace Main Street offers “Havre de Grace Haunted History Tours” on Friday evenings.

Tour stops will include historic homes or points of interest where hauntings or bizarre things have happened, in the past or in present-day, according to a statement from Main Street.

“A significant factor in Havre de Grace tours is that the history and murder stories are TRUE stories documented either by newspaper or local historians,” the statement said. “And the ghost stories are firsthand accounts told to Main Street from the people who experienced them.”

Tours may not be suitable for children eight and younger, according to Main Street.
