Warriors Sports Results from Week 2

Havre de Grace High School racked up nine wins in week two of the Upper Chesapeake Bay Conference.

The Warriors football team won the home opener against Harford Tech, 25-20, on Friday night. The team comes away from week two with a 1-1 record.

Both girls soccer games against St. Andrews were cancelled Friday.

JV boys football played at Harford Tech Thursday and also came out on top, 26-0.

The Warriors boys soccer beat Rising Sun Thursday, 4-2.

Boys volleyball fell to Aberdeen Thursday, 3-1.

Warriors won a golf event at Rising Sun Thursday. Havre de Grace had 0, Rising Sun scored 250 and Patterson Mill had 269 points.

JV girls volleyball beat Joppatowne Wednesday, 2-0.

Varsity girls volleyball also beat Joppatowne Wednesday, 3-0.

Field hockey lost to Edgewood on Wednesday, 2-1.

Boys volleyball lost to C. Milton Wright Tuesday, 3-0.

Cross-country stomped out the competition at a multi-team event in Elkton Tuesday. The Warriors boys earned 120 points. In their footsteps, Elkton had 52 points, Rising Sun had 41 and Edgewood had 28 points. The lady Warriors also stepped out ahead of the competition, with 70 points. Coming in behind them were Edgewood with 62 points, Elkton with 44 and Rising Sun with 39.

Aberdeen (246) beat Havre de Grace (999) and Elkton (999) at Ruggles Golf Course Tuesday.

JV girls volleyball beat Harford Tech Monday, 2-0.

Girls varsity volleyball fell to Harford Tech Monday, 3-2.

Girls varsity soccer fell to Bo Manor Monday, 3-1.
