Havre de Grace Holiday Parade to 'Light Up the Night'

The Havre de Grace Winter Wonderland Committee is putting together the annual holiday parade this weekend, and it’s sure to be a bright spot at the end of a mostly overcast week.

“Light up the Night” is the theme for the festivities on Friday, Dec. 4, according to Havre de Grace Tourism.

First, a parade will course through downtown, followed by the city’s Christmas tree lighting,

The parade starts at 6 p.m. on Saint John Street and proceeds along Washington Street.

The tree lighting will take place on Washington at Saint John Streets.

Afterward, children will have a chance to visit Santa in his workshop on North Washington Street.

Temperatures are supposed to be cool on Friday but the rain will have subsided. Check the forecast for Havre de Grace.
