Havre de Grace Housing Authority Beacon of Hope Recognition & Fundraiser Event

The Havre de Grace Housing Authority is the only public housing authority in Harford County, M. We provide a Family Self Sufficiency Program (FSS) for the benefit our public housing clients. The program is designed to help families improve the quality of their lives. It involves counseling and referral services which are provided on an individual basis in the following areas: education, job training, employment opportunities, child care, transportation, budgeting, credit counseling, home ownership counseling, career advancement and business ownership.

Our 3rd annual Beacon of Hope Recognition & Fundraiser event will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Bulle Rocke in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Doors will open at 5:30 pm for admittance & registration. The evening will include live music, food, beverages, auction items, and most importantly the recognition of twenty (20) FSS participating families receiving the “Beacon of Hope award” , for all their achievements as they walk down the lighted path of self-sufficiency.
