Havre de Grace Library Wants Public Input on Expansion Plans

The Harford County Library seeks feedback about plans for Havre de Grace branch.

What should the new and improved Havre de Grace library look like?

Harford County Library officials want to hear from the community as plans for expansion get underway at its Havre de Grace branch.

Proposed plans call for increasing the library's size from 8,400 to approximately 15,000 square feet and growing from one to two stories.

Groundbreaking will take place in late fall 2014 on North Union Avenue, according to the library.

Citizens are invited to meet with the building design team, which is seeking public input, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Havre de Grace Activity Center (351 Lewis Ln.).
