Havre de Grace License Plates Debut
The decorative plate is a nod to the city's War of 1812 bicentennial.

The wait is over—the Havre de Grace War of 1812 bicentennial license place is almost here.
Officials from the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration have started sending out the commemorative plates and those who have applied should receive them this week, according to Brigitte Peters, the city’s manager of Tourism and Marketing.
Approximately 90 people had ordered the city's War of 1812 bicentennial license plates as of mid-December, Peters said. They first went on sale in April.
