Havre de Grace Mardi Gras Celebration Jazzes Up Winter in the City
The parade on Bourbon Street is set for Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Next Tuesday, Havre de Grace is taking a cue from the Big Easy and hosting its own Mardi Gras parade.
The sixth annual event is supported by the Havre de Grace Historic Preservation Committee and includes floats, costumed characters and music.
“As the tourist season slows, we felt the need to wake up our community, think local and celebrate small business," said Brigitte Peters, City of Havre de Grace Marketing and Tourism Manager.
