Front Door Stolen; 2 Marijuana Arrests: HdG Police Blotter

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.

The front door of a home under construction in the 500 block of Peace Chance Drive was reported stolen.

Construction workers had left the tan door—which was to be the front door to the house—inside the garage. It was last seen on Saturday.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, construction workers discovered it was gone. The estimated loss was $590.

Thefts: Officers are investigating a case of fraud involving a bank card. The card in question was used at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Royal Farms on Revolution Street.

A report was filed in the 800 block of Giles Street on Monday regarding mail theft, which had allegedly been going on for more than four years.

Theft was reported in the 100 block of Hunter Court at 3:03 p.m. on March 20.

Cash in the amount of $120 was stolen from a wallet in the 300 block of South Adams Street at 12:25 p.m. on March 20.

Late reported—A necklace was stolen from the 700 block of Revolution Street on March 16.

Drugs: Drug activity was reported in the 100 block of Deaver Street at 12:47 p.m. on Tuesday.

A 25-year-old from the 500 block of North Adams Street was charged with possession of marijuana on March 20. Around 10:25 p.m., police had been contacted for a disturbance in the 500 block of North Union Avenue and found the individual, with a plastic bag containing marijuana, on Freedom Lane at Warren Street.

A 22-year-old Bel Air man, of the 200 block of Temple Drive, was charged with possession of marijuana at 10:52 p.m. on March 20. An officer stopped to check what looked like an unoccupied vehicle with the engine running in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway and found the man inside with the seat fully reclined. When the man got out of the vehicle, the officer said it smelled like marijuana and the man directed the officer to the center console, which contained a plastic bag with marijuana inside.

Vandalism: Vandalism was reported in the 1100 block of Revolution Street at 2:58 p.m. on Monday.
