Havre de Grace Postpones Curbside Collections after Snow

The Department of Public Works in Havre de Grace has canceled curbside collections in the aftermath of the recent snowfall.

By Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service reported unofficial snowfall totals of 17.5 and 16 inches in Bel Air and Whiteford, respectively.

The city of Havre de Grace reported Friday that "due to the excessive amounts of snow and subsequent cleanup efforts," the scheduled recycling and yard waste collections were canceled.

All collections for next week will be pushed back one day because of Presidents Day on Monday, Feb. 17.
