Havre de Grace Residents Sound Off on Snowplowing

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD—As of 8 a.m. Sunday the blizzard warning for Maryland has been lifted. Over the weekend, Winter Storm Jonas brought up to 33.5 inches of snow to towns across Harford County.

No travel ban was issued for Havre de Grace throughout the storm, but Governor Larry Hogan is still urging residents to stay off the roads while crews get to work.

We asked Patch readers in Havre de Grace how they felt about the plowing done on their block. Here’s what they said:

  • “It looks good by revolution and market cant tell if its to the curb or not”
  • “The person that plowed BET Twice Circle did an outstanding job! Best in the 8 years I have lived here. Thank you to him!”
  • “Ontario Street Extended is very passable. They’ve been on it since early Friday evening.”
  • “My neighbor and I ended up snowblowing the street. CWorked from 8 to noon to clear the street and then the front end loader came thru with the blade up.”
