HdG Police Seek 2 Men in Rite Aid Holdup

The Havre de Grace Police Department said employees were tied up during the robbery.

Authorities are looking for two men who tied up Rite Aid employees during an armed robbery over the weekend, the Havre de Grace Police Department reported Tuesday.

At 10:21 p.m. Friday, as employees were leaving the store in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway/US Route 40, two men entered and presented a handgun, according to police spokeswoman Julie Morgan.

The suspects escorted the employees to the store's back office and tied them up with nylon zip ties, police said.

One man kept watch in the back office over the employees, who were bound and lying on the floor, while the other man stole cash and cigarettes from behind the store counter, according to the report.

Police said the suspects left the Rite Aid, and it was unknown which direction they took after that.

The robbery remains under investigation. Anyone with information may contact the Havre de Grace Police Department at 410-939-2121.
