Havre de Grace Sets 'Trick or Treat' Hours, Halloween Parade Date

Witches, ghosts, goblins and other creatures may be roaming the streets of Havre de Grace for two nights this Halloween.

The 29th annual Havre de Grace Halloween Parade will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30. Registration starts at 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Washington Street. There will be 15 prizes for best costumes. The event is free and open to all ages.

This year, Halloween falls on a Friday, so children will be out and about, ready for candy and other treats on the actual day itself. The official “Trick-or-Treat” hours in the city of Havre de Grace are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.
