Vacation Bible School 2016

Are you ready for Cave Quest? Vacation Bible School will be held July 10th thru the 14th. We will begin our adventure with a pancake dinner on Sunday, July 10th beginning at 5:15pm. Afterwards, we will journey to the sanctuary to begin our week of following Jesus, the light of the world. During the course of the week we will learn thru stories, crafts, games and songs that Jesus gives us hope, courage, direction, love and power.

Children will be grouped according to the grade they will be entering in school in August. We will have a class for Pre-K, Kindergarten and first grade, second and third grade, fourth and fifth grade and new this year a class for our incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade middle school students as well as an adult class led by Dan Rusin.

With the exception of Sunday, the fun begins at 6:15 in the sanctuary for Sing and Play Rock. Following our opening, groups will travel thru Deep Bible Quests, Spectacular Sports and Games, and Imagination Station before traveling back to the sanctuary for Cave Quest Closing and the ever popular Spotlight. A nightly snack will also be offered. Our mission project will be Grace Place, a soup kitchen at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Havre de Grace United Methodist Church has a dedicated group of ladies and gentlemen who volunteer on the second Tuesday of each month. We will be accepting cash donations as well as non-perishable food items.
