City of Havre de Grace: 'Havre a Happy, Healthy New Year'

In the days after Christmas, Havre de Grace is urging people to continue shopping and dining at the city on the Chesapeake.

On Christmas Eve, the city of Havre de Grace released a holiday YouTube greeting called “Celebrate the Spirit“ with images taken inside several city establishments—Bomboy’s, Vandiver Inn, Joseph’s Department Store, Silks Restaurant and others—accompanied by text encouraging people to visit the city and patronize local businesses. For example, one message stated: “Holiday shopping, holiday cheer, holiday here.”

The holiday clip appeared to be a continuation of ”Catch the Spirit,” a video the city released in late November calling for people to get into the spirit of the season by visiting Havre de Grace.
