HCPS Receives $19K Donation From Omni Technologies

From Harford County Public Schools: Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) is the recipient of a $19,000 donation from OMNI Technologies, LLC. The donation will be used to purchase 30 laptops and a charging cart for Havre de Grace High School’s Technology Education Department.

The new technology will benefit the high school students as they participate in the Technology Education curriculum and will afford them the opportunity to use the new laptops with the latest version of the AutoCAD suite to design and create.

“Harford County Public Schools is excited about our new partnership with OMNI Technologies, LLC and grateful for the generous financial contribution they provided,” said HCPS Supervisor of Business, Technology, and Magnet Programs Robert Limpert. “This partnership will impact all the students at Havre de Grace High School as they complete course work in the Technology Education program and will help encourage students to pursue career paths in STEM-related areas.”

The financial donation from OMNI Technologies was made possible through the HCPS Partnership Network, which offers opportunities for teachers, businesses, and community agencies to form partnerships with the school system to enhance students’ experiences and build bridges of understanding and positive working relationships between the business and education communities.
