Game-Day Specials on Tap at HdG Eateries

Restaurants in Havre de Grace roll out the purple shooters and Ravens glasses as Baltimore takes on New England.

While the AFC Championship plays out in New England, there will be plenty of action right here in Havre de Grace.

If you're looking to pregame before the 6:30 p.m. kickoff, you may want to check out "Siesta Sunday" at Laurrapin Grille (209 N. Washington Street). From noon to 6 p.m., burgers at the bar are half price and pitchers of margaritas, sangria, bloody Marys and mimosas are $10.

Across the street, Rodger's House Tavern (226 N. Washington Street) will be serving up a free buffet and drink specials for football fans. A Ravens glass filled with Coors Light or Budweiser costs $5.

At Bill Bateman's Bistro (2021 Pulaski Highway), bottles of Bud Light will be $2.50 a pop and burgers will be half price for Sunday's game, according to Explore Harford.

The paper also said that Coakley's Pub will be cooking pit beef and sausages outside and offering free purple shooters each time the Ravens score a touchdown against the Patriots.

Nearby MacGregor's is running a two-for-one draft special and will have purple Ravens shooters. In addition to its regular fare, the restaurant has a game-day "pub grub" menu that includes crab nachos, chili cheese fries, wings, 1/4 pound hot dog and a Baltimore grinder.
