Meet HdG Council Hopefuls Before Election 2019
What do you want to ask the candidates for Havre de Grace City Council? Wednesday night is your chance.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — With the Havre de Grace election weeks away, citizens are invited to get to know the candidates who will appear on the ballot. The Ontario Otsego Positive Action Committee (OPAC) is hosting its annual candidate night to allow people to do just that.
OPAC will moderate the forum at the Opera House at 6:30 on Wednesday.
Before and at the forum, community members are invited to submit questions for the candidates.

The OPAC Havre de Grace Candidate's Night will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at the Cultural Center at the Opera House, 121 North Union Avenue.

Candidates are running for city council and mayor.
Havre de Grace Mayor Bill Martin is running unopposed in the mayoral race, according to The Aegis, which reports five people running for a seat on the city council:
- David Martin (incumbent)
- Wyona Hilton-Stanley
- Jason Robertson (incumbent)
- Kirk Smith
- Carolyn Zinner (incumbent)
The voter registration deadline is Tuesday, April 16.
Those who will be out of town on Election Day may request an absentee ballot application by Tuesday, April 30, from the Harford County Board of Elections.
Election Day is on Tuesday, May 7, at St. Patrick's on Pennington Avenue.
